I shouldn't be too critical of the stupid, after all it's not doublespeak, but simply the limits of the mass culture vocabulary. Their polls ask about "popularity" of war in Iraq, as if the American Civil War or WWII were popular. They ask what is more important: economy or defence... why don't they ask what is more important -- legs or hands?

There are three types of people: bad, stupid and silly. Majority, of course, are the stupid kind. The silly one are Americans. Two world wars, Korea, Vietman and even the Cold War could not teach the inhabitance of the twentieth century who are Americans and what are they for.
Well, I am one of them now. I don't want to have right answer, but good questions....
First, let me explain myself. If I do not know why I should do it -- I don't do it. If I still want to do, I resist as long as I can. So, I did. But if I still want to do, even after years of resistance, I do it, hoping that by doing I maybe finally can understand "why"! Writing experience taught me that very often you have to do it without any understanding. But do I know?
The birth of this directory is connected with another one -- Film600: Wrong Subjects & Bad Theories (or "Wrong Theories + Bad Subjects"). The new pages are very new and I hope that they would bringe my nonfiction writing with the extremes of my research projects (like Virtual Theatre and The Books of Spectator). Maybe I can have them linked: the theory and the practice...
I afraid to call my speculations a "philosophy"; I rather keep it under the name "hysterical metaphysics". No, seriously, this is why I want my anti-theories to bad and wrong. You see, this is an "emotion-based" physics (my field is the inner reality); the law of gravity therefore is very personal and functions depending on the age, gender and mood....

Right now it's basically templates with the listing of already existing files: Self, POV, PostAmeriKa, Theology of Technology and so on. The layout is a product of my webmaster's experience (read Webman's Diary). It's a construction ("under construction") of the project "Resurrection" (yes, my own resurrection; I have to start it while I am still alive, you know). In short, this is Anatoly's mindscape.
NB. About the pix. Nudes, 9-11 -- and now even American flag! Why? It will take time before the pages can find its visual forms. I and you have to wait. Even the sounds are not in place (you can deside what you want to hear, using "click & play" links. Remember, you are a part of my project (Michail Bakhtin). Click on different midi files and see how you perception of the text would change (what did I tell you about relativistic approach to the law of gravity?)
Oh yes, the popup windows! They are for navigation, keep it in tray and use when you are lost or bored. Also, the pictures of the great thinkers shoudl give you some clues what to exprect.
If you read postmodern writers (I placed the Amazon links, the easiest way to organize references and bibliography), you guess already that you can't exprect systematic organization. I insist on the "chios harmony" -- the best we can get!
I still do not know who is a narrator. Yes, you, me -- it's given. Plus, the writers I quote. Maybe Dante, my favorite philosopher (you will understand that Mozart is a philosopher too, iut takes time to get used to "hysterical metaphysics"). Dante should accept this position, it's long overdo -- his turn to guide us through our own world.

applied to this new kind of war, when USA and USSR had never fire
a single shot at each other (B-2 story, cuban Crisis and Nuclear
Arms as a mutual deterrence). The conflict of two super-powers
was a clash of two concept of global future: American Age v.
Communism. Global Society against Global State. From the global
perspective it could be viewed as the first Global Civil War.
Both sides shared the physical space and the space of potential
time. They has a subject to fight over, i.e. it was an issue of
interpretation of the same doctrine.
Comparing the notes from the two times:
The communist party has no place in America, because America
is a field of communism. Utopia and American Dream -- what's the
difference? Of course, I thought that communists are in Russia.
That's what I was told. Communism is not just organizations or

two brands of super-modernity. Both sides worked on social
programming of mind no less than on military technology. The
entire space program had more propaganda purpose than any

"American Libertarians"? In the 21st century any libertarian must remember that finally he indeed could be a citizen of the world. American Age made it possible. Bakunin and Kropotkin, Stirner and even Marx never thought "nationally"! For different (opposite) reasons, but they understood that the state and national histories are over! "American agenda" of LP must be revised. The New American Revolution must have philosophical grounds, we must realize the new reality of the global existence. What this "war on terror" is about? The first American Revolution wasn't just a departure from England, but from the old world, the world of old ideas and old societies.
