I do not want to repeat what I say to actors. In short, artist is a longly existence, in fact, this is the art of solitude. If you have this gift of being alone in the crown, you have a chance to learn how to be "Private in Public"... Tarkovsky could live in two words at once -- on the set and in his own imagination...Director is a new and very tricky professon... [I will finish this page later, kids]

I am writing to recommend a production at the NYC Fringe Festival for those who are wandering the streets wondering what to attend.A LITTLE PIECE OF THE SUN is a new documentary theatre work written and directed by Daniel Kleinfeld, former resident director of Todo Con Nada. The general subject matter is the Chernobyl nuclear disaster and a Soviet child murderer, but that synopsis hardly begins to describe the nature of this innovatively-staged, highly visual/audial, epic ensemble work.
Remaining showtimes are Fri. 17 at 7pm, Thurs. 23 at 9 pm, and Sat 25 at 9pm, at The Present Company, on the corner of Ridge and Stanton. (Ridge is about 6 blocks east of Katz's Deli, and Stanton is a block south of Houston.) All FringeNYC productions are $12.
