Directing senior thesis is a part of the Theatre UAF season with the budget by UAF (producer).
You have to have a directing class behind, Winter Shorts directing (including stage management), involved in SDA (Student Drama Association) work -- and more.
Before you see me, fill out the "major's form" (ask our secretary).
The script must be approved by the dept.
We pay the royalties.
The budget is limited ("Poor Theatre" concept).
No orinal scripts (new script must go through thr workshop stage, including stage reading).
No acting in your show.
The director's book is required (see sample in the THR Office).
Open auditions.
Weekly meeting with your instructor.
Directing majors must get thorugh THR215 DramLit (and preferably THR413 Playscript Analysis).
