THE DAY I WOKE UP DEAD

 

I did and I didn't.

I was very dead.

I wasn't around

when I woke up so dead.

 

I know

I didn't

because I was dead.

 

One day

in the morning

I woke up and saw

that

I 

wasn't

there,

or here,

in bed,

to see

and to know

because I was dead.

 

I got very angry and very upset -

It wasn't my bed,

not my bed,

even that,

any bed,

I don't get!

Because

I was dead

on that morning I woke up too dead.

Don't forget -

I was that day absent,

because I was dead.

 

He sat on my bed.

He was sad,

very sad.

 

And I said -

"Don't be mad,

It's not bad.

One day in the morning,

today in the morning,

I see, in the morning

you wake up in bed."
