Как я оказался во ВГИКе?

Был мальчиком программистом, вот и работал бы тепло-физиком, но примитивное "искусство" было таким привлекательным. Можно было быть "художником" и без литературы. Кино ведь было рождено немым и в немоте его сила.

Изображение жизни, изображение искусства, изображение...

Писать (как и думать) надо всегда, даже когда не хочется.

Вопрос о чем писать не стоит и думать не надо.

Способность думать вовсе не означает, что думать надо о всякой ерунде.

Думать надо о главном -- о себе.

Этот неразумный эгоизм и есть все, что остается "пустому" (пост-историческому) человеку. Думать о себе, как предмете исследования, и есть теоретическая и эксперименталья наука в форме примитивного искусства.

Искусством мы вынуждены заниматься тогда, когда культуры нет.

А может все это и к лучшему. Отсутствие жизни, истории, общества и прочих основных, таких привычных принципов, "человеческого".

Ну, может не искусством, может это "громко сказано"...

Это если подумать.

Then "The Programmers" were stopped at the Riga Studio. Then... I didn't get a single feature movie in my Soviet Life. For the better. ...
