Here is my problem. I don't not want to have a portal or database. It began as my personal webpapes and I would like to keep it personal (or I will lose any interest in working on webpages). They all say "keep it simple and so on" -- maybe this is a good advise for K-Mart, but i am not an organization! More, as a matter of fact, I would like to make my pages more "confusing" (I mean to turn them into a game)! I do not like the idea of IT (Information Technolofies) to be this cyber-highway, I like it to be CYBER FOREST. No entrances and exits, no numbers, signs, you get lost, or find something you didn't expect. To tell you the truth, this "film studies" is only a part of me -- and webpages are about Anatoly, or at least, Anatoly's POV. What's the point to make them without personality? Maybe 10 years from now they will be reworked into something formal, but what do I care? I will be dead by then.* Index * Theatre Books * Mining Film * Sites Map * What's New * Search * Virtual Theatre * My Writing * Plays * The Book of Spectator * Film Directing 101 * Theatre Theory * Film Analysis * Web * CLASSES * My Nonfiction (webtexts): Theology of Technology * POV * PostAmeriKa * Father-Russia * Bookmark vTheatre! I am making so many new pages that I forgot about this directory! I may say - I didn't have time to make it work.If you are a webmaster, read Webman's Diary and you will understand that this is very normal (to get lost in your own webpages).

New titles and links -- see you there!
You see Amazon links everywhere. This is how the pages stay free of charge; you buy from here and Amazon gives commissions, which pay for the servers (Yahoo and Tripod). If not for Amazon, the pages would go "pay to surf" next year. Maybe this is a losing proposition and some day the pages will go as a pay service, but for now it's free. Marry Christmas. And Happy New Year!
