There is then creative reading as well as creative writing.

Summary"One glance at a book and you hear the voice of another person, perhaps someone dead for 1,000 years. To read is to voyage through time." ~ Carl Sagan [ Good time-travel machine ]
... the only time-travel I understand.
QuestionsAdvising myself: consider that your life is over, do the editing. Post-production period.
... 3.28.04. Another weekend is gone. What did I do for three days! I worked. I spent fourty or maybe even fifty hours behind the computor. How many webpages I went through? A little bit here and there, but it's not as if I wrote a scene, act, or short-story. Who was working? A webmaster? I hoped that by now I simply can use the webpages for writing, don't I have them, the pages to write on?
NotesIf the web could get me to the published book, will the books support the webpages without me being involved? Could the websites support itself? Where is this financial (administrative) mechanism? When I was a writer, I did rewrites, editing, cuts -- not anymore. What is there to change? I write down the minimum, often without connections with the rest of the text. I do not "write around" -- I am used to it by now, but still do not understand this way of "writing"...
... The year my father died.Yes, I know that any future is unpredictable, including my own. Yes, I know what I teach in 2004-2005. Of course, I know what I am writing... NTL, I don't know myself.Feb. 21 2003: I am making "2004" pages in all my directories. I know what I am to teach next year, I know what I will direct, write... I know a lot about the near future. So, for a change I do the pages about the "next"... I know that I'll be 55...
I know what I would like to do -- to have a distance from my webpages! I need to write. But how -- I write my books online! All of them. At the same time...
I need to finish my Russian play. And, yes, I want to write again.
I will be in Moscow in Jan. -- I do not know myself in Moscow 2004.
That much for chronicals of the future.
* 3.24.04. As you can see I have writing projects to work on for my 2004-2005 directing season: The Shrew and Oedipus. Both are the classic and in public domain -- I can do the adaptaions for virtual theatre style productions.
Nice. But I didn't budget them in my 2004 writing plans.
"The Shrew" is already broaken in the screen version for Bianca Story and "Oedipus" (online original) became "Anti-Oedipus" (thanks, Deleuze), or maybe even "Oedipus X" (you follow me).
What about the new draft of Demons (Devils, The Possessed, Terror) I was supposed to do this Spring? What about it?
What about the books?...
Well, the textbooks are pushing them out. I teach, I write my notes and new pages for acting classes and film directing students. What could I do when I see them every other day? I have to do it before I get to class -- and, yes, I have to write after I get back home....
@2003- GeoAlaska *... script.vtheatre.net/themes:
Theme-thought, according to different playwrights (Shakespeare, Ibsen, Strindberg, Chekhov and so on) and directors (Fellini, Kurosawa, Tarkovsky, Bergman pages).
Connections with other themes (list): family, gender and sex...
Finally, my own practical investigations: shows.vtheatre.net (only recently I began to make themes pages, Don Juan 2003, for example).
And the nonfiction (writing), of course: HIM, Father-Russia, PostAmeriKa, Self, POV, Tech (gatepages are in WRITE directory).
Yeah, yeah, there is more -- "philo" pages, metaphysics: in theatre theory directory, for instance (topics-bar: space, time and etc.)
Plus, Virtual Theatre and Book of Spectator!
Web? Oh, this is just medium. Like stage, screen, writing...
