The models of stage directors are known. Read about Stanislavsky, or Peter Brook. I use the "director's director" model -- Meyerhold.

Not everything, but a lot I know about his production, his persona, his life. Compare Meyerhold with yourself! Or yourself with Meyerhold...

Yes, you should. Never mind the ambitions. You share the holy space -- stage. When you directed Shakespeare, you were his co-writer, you challenged the master...

In order to challenge Shakespeare, you have to challenge yourself.
